Safe Spark Gap-Explosion Proof Spark Gap
Description
A spark gap is made of two electrodes with gas between them. When the voltage between the electrodes is high enough, it allows an electric spark to pass, lowering resistance. Spark gaps bridge insulating flanges in protected pipelines during surges and lightning strikes. They’re available in two types: conventional and explosion-proof, with various current ranges.
